Why do you play with the SSO?: I am an advocate for developing string groups. SSO has shown amazing growth in my short tenure. I have friends who play here.

Other experiences: I started the string program in Batesville Arkansas with the help of the Artist in Education program through Arkansas Arts Council and Lyon College., employed by Batesville School District from 2003-2017. I currently play in two orchestras, two quartets, and Village Strings (2016-).

Other interests: My hobby is repairing string instruments, and I service instruments in Huntsville, Alabama. My in-laws, Harry Reeve and Wanda J Bearden Reeve, owned the PC Bearden Violin Shop in St. Louis. I trained with my husband, a world-ranked bowmaker and violin maker.
