About the Saline Symphony Orchestra

Established in 2014 as the Saline County Community Orchestra, the Saline Symphony Orchestra is a volunteer effort of musicians from the Central Arkansas area.

Our musicians hale from a wide range of backgrounds, from student to professional to musical educator; from high school to college to career to retirees. We unite in our love of music, and our enthusiasm in bringing that music to Arkansas through performances.

Currently, the orchestra performs twice a year; once during the holiday season and once in the spring, with other ensemble opportunities as they arise. We recruit in the late summer for the fall semester and late winter for the spring semester.

Our Needs

The orchestra is a project of Dimensions Fine Arts, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing performance and educational opportunities to musicians of all ages in Arkansas. Your donation is tax deductible, and if you are so inclined, you can donate to the orchestra via the PayPal link located below.

Donations go toward such items as purchasing rights to musical scores for performance, printing costs, advertising costs, venue rentals, and more. One musical score can cost up to $200, and a typical performance features six or more musical pieces.

Please consider donating today. Visit our Donation Page for more information on how to donate online. Thank you!
